"A local pub for local people."

Nothing wrong with this pub, however it does have the same problem that many 'local pubs' have. This problem occurs when a small group of not very pleasant people think they have more right to a local because their inadequate lives allow this base level of thinking. For me the impact of not using the Clarendon is negligable because i have a life. It is however a shame that decent people have a reduced experience of the place because one of the only places life's losers can feel that they belong is down the pub. .
