A review of Ron's Cafe by Polly kaur written on Tuesday 23rd of June 2009
Ron's Cafe has always been a fantastic cafe, there early in the morning to serve the working back bone of our society. With it's home made chips, & runny eggs, strong hot tea & friendly service all at a reasonable price, no wonder it was so popular.
When it was sold, I for one thought to myself, "that's it, it will never be the same again, it'll be ruined", but, I was wrong. Since Polly Kaur & her husband took over a couple of years ago, they have made minor alterations that were needed, but still retained it's working class charm. The prices have remained cheap, though the quality of the food remains good.
We may be hitting a recession, but this is one business that should, if there is any justice in the world, come out fighting. Support your local greasy spoon, & enjoy a very Merry Christmas, & a Prosperous New Year.
(I am not on the payroll for Ron's cafe, just a very satisfied customer).
