A review of Indigo At The Fosseway by Judith Gray written on Friday 8th of December 2017
After being customers of Indigo for years, we decided to have our work Christmas meal for 15.
It was booked in person by the 3 ladies who were organising it for 7.30
They chose the table and a set menu.
When we got there tonight, the table was occupied and we were offered a table upstairs which we refused.
It's cramped and there are no toilet facilities
After many discussions and standoffs, we were seated downstairs, a floor down from the main seating area.
Firstly,they'd forgotten we'd book a set menu.
When the drinks arrived, one we were told was on the set menu wasn't.
Words were exchanged with the owner but we didn't get a compromise.
We didn't get our first course until 8.40.
Over an hour after we arrived.
First two courses were fine, last two came together
One of which was the Indigo Special Pizza
It was totally bland and the four of is that ordered it only ate one slice each.
Boring. and bland
So apart from the company, this experience was not a good one or typical of Indigo.
I think next time we have a get together, we'll move on
Very disappointing..
