Thornton & District Workingmens Club is used as the social base for the Thornton Fly Fishers Club (TFF)

The TFF regularly use the excellent facilities for the vast majority of their social events such as the Christmas dinner function where the Workingmens club provides the catering. It is an ideal venue where members can spend time together in a relaxing invironment. It is also very close to Thornton Reservoir where fly fishing for trout is very much a participation recreation.

TFF Members meet at the club regularly on Wednesday evenings when different social events take place throughout the year. .
