"COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!"

I recently prepaid for a massage/facial at Tranquility over the phone. The time agreed was at 3pm.

When I arrived the salon door was locked, lights were on, it appeared open?.

Knocking for several minutes,confused why no one was here,I became concerned maybe something had happening inside the salon.

The shop next door said this wasn't the first time a customer had come asking if she knew why the shop was closed.

At 3:12 decided to go home and try get a refund, then saw a woman opening the salons door.

When I approached, the woman I now know as therapist Sam told me she had been on a late lunch and forgot she had any customers!?,no apologies?,no concern? totally indifferent? Sam told me giggling it was quite normal for the customers to wait outside and chatty to me about her boss and owner being away on holiday and running salon alone.

Another woman had followed us in, I was told this was Sams "mate" who didn't work at the salon?

I felt unsure about continuing as they both appeared slightly tipsy! but as I had prepaid, I hoped it might improve and Sam was just unprofessional.

On using the toilet I found no seat on it, it was lent against the wall.

The room was tiny and very dark, the door did not shut properly,a two inch gap,

the bed was comfortable but the room very cold.

During my back massage Sam left the room twice!,to speak to a customer, and the second time to return a call to another customer who had left a voice message on salons machine, all could be heard from the treatment room as this salon is very small.

It was impossible to say if the massage would have been relaxing? with lack of continuity? it was of a seriously poor standard and that of inexperience therapist.

The facial started well, but sadly only 6mins into the treatment with cream left on my face Sam once AGAIN left the room to speak with a customer!! It was then I call time on this madness and got dressed, I felt upset, frustrated and stressed at the waste of time and money i had given to this salon.

I had no clue what cream had been left on my face, and feared I was at risk of a reaction to my skin?, I had no idea at this point if Sam was even fully trained? she was showing such a lack of insight on how to provide a professional service.

On seeing me leaving Sam appeared nonchalant that I had stopped the facial and that I was upset with her continually leaving during the treatments.

Sam argued that at 19yrs old what did I expect??? she felt it was no big deal?

This salon was the worse and most unprofessional salon i have had the unfortunate mistake of visiting..

During my conversation with Sam while I was leaving and giving the reasons why I wanting a refund and was distressed,I was forced to endure unacceptable ridicule by Sams friend who had joined us at the reception, this really sums up what kind of respect this salon has for it's customers.

I was able to get my money back but would never recommend this salon.
