"A three stone beauty"

In 1965 my father bought my mother a beautiful 2.1/2 carat 3-stone diamond ring from Pearce & Sons when they were at 7-9 Market Place, Leicester. They've long since left those premises but I still have the ring and the box it came in. I love wearing it but the setting is so heavy it swings round which can be annoying. But I prize the ring because of its beauty and the memories it brings of my dear mother wearing it as the setting was the width of her finger so quite spectacular as the diamonds are of the best clarity..
