"Please read this before you use this company.."

A review of Fosse Taxis by Mr Chambers written on Saturday 14th of May 2016

I have been using this taxi company for years for both business and personal life. The standard of service has been pretty mixed, often the Taxis will arrive late, they are quite expensive and I have had some rude/ignorant drivers. Up to this point I have seen the wood through the trees and carried on using them as I have convinced myself other companies in Leicester could be worse. However, last week I booked a Taxis with this company as I was running late for a public transport connection to get to work. It was only to be a fairly short journey and as actually the taxi did arrive on time I would have caught my connection without a problem. A couple of minutes in to the journey I noticed the driver was going the wrong way - had he continued on that route the journey would have taken twice as long. I pointed it out to the driver and after giving me a lame apology he turned round and went the right way. Given the attitude of the driver I am sure that this was a deliberate attempt to get a higher fare from me. If I hadn't of noticed I not only would I have been charged twice the fare but I would have probably missed my connection to work. It goes without saying - I won't be using this company again..
