My Leicester spinning wheel must be 35 years old at least. It is beautiful and continues to run very smoothly. I have worked with it in Leeds, in Donegal and Co Down, and it now resides in Hampshire. Although the wheel is large, it is readily transported, as long as care is taken and it has become a lovely warm colour over time. I am only getting back to working with it after a long period of neglect, and each time I start to spin, I am delighted with the pleasure it gives me. Spinning is well recommended as a stress relieving activity!

I understand the the Williamsons are no longer involved, and I only hope that the companies that have continued in their name have maintained their high quality and excellent service. .
