A review of South Lodge by David Seal written on Monday 9th of March 2015
I attended south Lodge from 1962-68. I best remember my clarinet lessons held in the library and taking my grades 3 and four. from South Lodge, I went to a rehabilitation in Barkby road before having various jobs. From 1970 to 90 I was a baths attendant at Bagworth colliery. After the colliery's closure, I decided to persue a career in office work After doing a course in business admin at the RNIB college in loughborough, I finally worked as a switchboard operator at a jobcenter. I am still a bellringer at my local church. I liked my time at South Lodge and made some good friends there..
