A review of Spinney Hill Medical Centre by Annoymous written on Saturday 1st of March 2014
I have to regularly prompt your front line staff to update my medicine dosage as it regularly changes. I know this for a fact because I am copied into the letter which is addressed to you to update the records!!!
At my last visit at your reception, I was advised that the doctor has not updated the record and this was 10 calender days after I received the letter. Does this mean that the doctor concerned cannot read/write?
You believe in modern technology and yet a simple thing like updating medicine dosage should not have to be prompted by the patient. You and your front line staff have to stop treating us patients as a number and at least ensure the medicine dosage records are accurate and updated immediately. One of these days someone may end up taking the wrong dosage because of the delays in updating records and you may have to live with that fact for a very very long time, besides having to explain to the authorites the reasons for delays in updating medicine records. Come on everyone at the surgery!!! You have the systems, start using them properly and efficiently..
