"Impossible"

Well, I have been trying to contact the job centre on the number they sent to me via text to confirm my meeting with them. It's now 9.35 a.m. and the offices are 'now closed' and 'open from 9 a.m. to 5pm'.

I'm recently unemployed, and want to work. Is it any surprise that there are so many on benefits if someone like myself who is proactive in seeking work can't get through? The more work shy won't stand a chance. Googling the leicester office brings up 1 local number (other than the 0845 which they seem to be forcing you to ring) but that number has been disconnected.

It's now 9.38 a.m., just tried again and still 'the offices are closed'..
