" Very disappointed"

A review of Ashfields Restaurant (Earl Shilton) Ltd by Disappointed written on Sunday 12th of May 2013

Having heard much about this restaurant and judging from the number of people there, I was expecting much, but very little was delivered. Food was boringly presented and certainly 2 of the starters looked as though they had come straight out of a supermarket packet. My main course meat was cold, chewy and represented the cardboard the starter might have been packaged in. The dessert might have been OK but it was heavy and stodgy. Although the sauce was lovely. I also loved the rhubarb with the pork - but that could have been because the pork was tasteless. The main course and desserts came out piecemeal,so,although we were only a party of 6 we had to wait a long time forall ofus to be served. Resulting in cold food and melted ice cream. .I honestly cannot recommend.
