A review of Moel Llys by Mr David Bosworth written on Sunday 3rd of February 2013
Please reply if at all possible and especially if you were at Moel-Llys around the mid seventies to eighties as i lived their from age 11yrs to leaving school.
I am a little saddened to learn Moel-Llys has recently been sold and has been granted permission to be used as a normal dwelling, which possibly means a certain amount of internal charachter of the building may be lost. However it is nice to know it won't just be knocked down or turned into appartments hopefully.
I am currently writing a book about 'My life'Which may be called(Born to die,Yearn to live)which certainly covers over three and a half years of my life growing up there with mostly wonderful people and memories. It certainly helped change my lifes direction.(The book is about most of lifes battles).
If anyone wishes to contact me about this period please feel free.I only wish i was in a position to have purchased the property myself so i could set it up as a charity retreat to help people with problems such as ex-forces personnel (like myself) who may need help adjusting with civvy street after serving who may have such as PTSD or other issues. If you can send me any information about the home that was,or recent events, please do. Much appreciated. Best wishes. Regards Dave Bosworth. You may contact me at email davboz@hotmail.co.uk.
