In April 1966, I left school to work in Turner & Jarvis factory, along with my Dad, Mum, and sister who already worked there. I enjoyed the work so much, that four years later when I left to have my first child, I continued to have work sent to my home in Broughton Astley. I was amazed to find they are still there operating in textiles and manufacturing goods still! .
