A review of Gorse Hill City Farm by Melanie written on Saturday 1st of September 2012
Took the kids there yesterday and they really enjoyed it. i took a picnic as recomended by friends due to high cost of cafe (which has nothing to do with the farm so don't take it out on them) you can sit in the play ground and eat and keep and eye on kids playing. the play ground is enclosed with a gate so no running off. only £2 for adults and £1 for kids but i gave a little more as they're a charity. kids loved feeding the animals and at only 50p a bag of feed it was great. it's a great budget trip even with a few things from the little farm shop cost lest than £10 including toys. they had a new horse in and we got to pet her and she was very friendly. There are buttons scattered around the farm that the kids loved pressing that tell you about what animals are in what field. .
