A review of Terracotta Restaurant by Fussy eater written on Thursday 9th of August 2012
I have visited the Terracotta in Highcross, Leicester on two family occasions. Our group ranges from 18 month old toddlers, children, parents and grandparents all with our own food preferences.
There is a huge choice of food, also sushi and an area where you choose fresh meat, noodles, peppers etc and it is cooked in front of you, every thing is buffet style - perfect for the fussy eater, you can eat as much as you wish. There are discreet labels next to all the dishes and you only have to ask if unsure, the desserts were gateux or fresh fruit salad, assorted "jellies" and ice creams. The staff, all Chinese, are very attentive, removing empty plates as necessary, replacing empty jugs of iced water with fresh. The surroundings are very pleasant ( not at all MacDonald like as a previous reviewer said)
The evening we visited there were many tables occupied by Chinese people - surely a sign the food is authentic!
My family recommend this restaurant, we are visiting again today. .
