A review of The Fairfield Inn by Mike Bradbury. written on Sunday 6th of March 2011
This pub has been the social gathering establishment for this estate since the early 1960's. It has seen many changes of management over the years and,at present, is being run by a holding company manager. He is,certainly in my opinion, doing a good job in keeping the place ticking over until a new tenant can be found. Please give him support because staff and customers are one big family, and I,for one,do not wish to see this family fall apart. In the past, thousands of pounds have been generated in charitable work, mostly for the childrens wards of the Leicester Royal Infirmary. Please give this great pub a try, because if you are hungry you will not find better, down to earth,'honest grub'anywhere in this area. Now come on, regulars and especially strangers,Lets keep this place alive, for all our sakes. .
