Ate here for the first time on Saturday. Unimpressed by the menu that was most definitely 'pub grub' but restaurant prices so was expecting a very good meal for the £14.95 paid for a mixed grill. The meal took one hour to arrive and came complete with non-ordered chips and without the ordered jacket potato. To be fair the waiter offered to change this but as I was by now very hungry I declined the offer. Steak tasted a little odd but have had no after-effects so can't really say anything more about this - it was a little too bloody for my taste but I wasn't asked how I would like my meat cooked. Tasty sausage, gammon steak nice by very very salty. Chicken okay but a little dry. A separate bowl of salad arrived about 7 minutes after starting the meal. All in all the meal was okay but certainly not worth what was paid and I for one will not eat here again. On the good side the drinks were reasonably priced and quickly delivered, although we don't normally expect to have to order again before the meal arrives!.
